Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust provides integrated acute and community Healthcare in the West Midlands serving a population of 260,000 residents. Walsall Manor Hospital houses the full range of district general hospital services. The £170 million development was completed in 2010 and we are continually upgrading. Construction of the new integrated critical care unit has commenced and is due to be completed 2017, and plans to extend the neonatal unit are underway.
We provide high quality, friendly and effective community health services from multiple sites covering Walsall. Our multidisciplinary services include rapid response and homebased care, so that those with long term conditions and the frail elderly can remain in their own homes.

Part Time and Full time available
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Division of surgery. We have posts on our general surgical emergency and elective ward.
We are looking for surgical nurses with special interests in colorectal, ENT, Urology and general surgery. We are willing to consider newly qualified.
You will need to be flexible to meet the demands of the service and be able to work on a shift rota basis.
The trust is committed to operating flexible working practices wherever possible. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary/ Multi-Agency team working under the direction of senior nurses within the Division of surgery
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
